When did you join Hepatitis C Victoria?

January 2, 2001 - easy to remember!

What do you personally get out of working with the hepatitis community?

Its a stimulating environment with lots of interesting people and fascinating stories out there.

As a worker, I get to deal with lots of issues, ranging from health, education, social, epidemiological and political issues - which really keeps my job interesting.

Why do you think hepatitis C is something that people out there need to be aware of?

Because knowledge is power. When hepatitis C affects people, some people can get quite sick but the more we know the stronger we are able to fight it.

If you could say just one thing to someone with hepatitis C, what would it be?

Don't panic.

What are you having for dinner tonight?

I've got a meeting tonight so I'm not quite sure but it will probably be either vegetarian pizza or vegetarian Chinese.
