At Hepatitis Victoria we believe that you can have hepatitis C or B and still enjoy life. By keeping up to date with the latest information, research and events you can discover ways to manage your hepatitis and be in control of your life.
Becoming a member of Hepatitis Victoria is a great idea for many reasons. These include:
- Receiving our information-packed quarterly Good Liver magazine. This will keep you in touch with new developments in research and treatment, information about managing hepatitis, and support group dates. It also features real-life stories from people who live with hepatitis C or B.
- Receiving notification of and invitation to special events run by Hepatitis Victoria.
- Having a say in how Hepatitis Victoria is run and how it helps people with viral hepatitis. You can attend our Annual General Meeting, vote for Board members, or even consider becoming a Board member yourself!
- Assisting us to advocate on your behalf to have your needs considered by government and the wider community.
- Showing your support for our work. A strong membership base is an important way that we demonstrate support for our organisation and work. It also helps us to keep in touch with what the important issues are for people with hepatitis C or B, and what they want done about it.

Membership for organisations
Our membership program for organisations has all the above benefits plus more. We are proud that we are able to send out bulk amounts of all our resources to organisations at no cost to them. We are also happy that our education and training programs, advocacy program, Hepatitis Infoline, support groups and specialist programs can all be delivered at no cost to the recipients.
The small payment that organisations make to become members helps Hepatitis Victoria to continue its important work for people with viral hepatitis and the Victorian community.
