Aboriginal Health Educator (Part Time)
Project Worker - 0.8 EFT/ 4 days per week
Hepatitis Victoria is a statewide, not for profit, community based, public health organisation committed to reducing the impact of viral hepatitis. Hepatitis Victoria provides information, support, referral, education and advocacy for people living with viral hepatitis and training for those who work with them.
The position of Aboriginal Health Educator will work closely with our team of educators and in partnership with key Aboriginal organisations, to deliver education programs about viral hepatitis to Aboriginal people and workers throughout Victoria. If you enjoy working on a diverse range of projects, including providing education on an important health issue affecting Aboriginal communities then this will be an ideal job for you. You will also have experience in working directly with Aboriginal services and people. On the job training and support will be provided.
